Overview

The Desktop Engineering Programming and Operations Tool (or, 'DEPOT') software is a suite of programming tools from TCS.

As you might have gathered from the name, this is a one-stop solution for TCS decoders, throttles, and other trackside devices. Once the DEPOT is downloaded to a user's computer, it can communicate with your layout, throttles, and decoders via WiFi or USB connections, in the same way as JMRI and other model railroad software applications.

Inside the DEPOT, you'll find specific programming tools for custom sound decoder programming, throttle firmware upgrades, sound downloads, operations tools, and much more. Moving beyond the core components, we will continue to roll out new features as users request them.

This software suite is designed to expand out and offer additional throttle and decoder tools as they are created.

System Requirements

The DEPOT currently is compatible with Windows systems running Windows 7 or better. Mac and Linux versions are in development and will be released before the first UWT-100 update is available.
