This CV is used by TCS to store information regarding the version of a specific decoder type. This CV is primarily used for decoder programming interfaces (such as JMRI) so the correct CV information for this decoder can be automatically found and loaded.

NMRA CV 111 - Decoder Type Specific Version Number (Low Byte)

This CV is used by TCS to store information regarding the version of a specific decoder type. This CV is primarily used for decoder programming interfaces (such as JMRI) so the correct CV information for this decoder can be automatically found and loaded.

CV 110 and CV 111 are both used to store a unique identifier for a specific locomotive type from the OEM.

Revisions or releases of the same locomotive may be further identified in CV 248.
